Telemarketer/Customer Service Representative

Montpelier Auto Auction is seeking an experienced Telemarketer/Customer Service Representative for PART TIME (16-20 hours). The successful candidate will be required to learn all aspects of customer service and become knowledgeable about our services for purposes of marketing via phone and in person. The individual will focus on individual sales and corporate objectives, implement and execute sales and marketing initiatives, and maintain exceptional customer service through the ongoing communication and development of customer relationships. Other responsibilities include:   Calling prospective customers to qualify leads and explain type of services offered, Inform current and prospective customers of upcoming sales and promotions, and encourages customers to buy and sell. Secure and place orders and arrange delivery date, enters names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects solicited into computer database system. Follows up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems. As a customer service representative they will be responsible for answering incoming customer calls, waiting on customers, setting up new customer accounts, data entry using auction software. Ideal candidates must have excellent phone mannerism, computer skills, top notch communications skills and strong cold calling abilities and be able to  perform in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational and follow through skills. Previous sales or telemarketing experience in the automotive industry a plus.
